Dress Code
Ladies: Please be covered from shoulders to ankles (for example, a long-sleeved maxi dress). A headscarf will also be needed whilst inside the mosque. If it's easier, you can absolutely bring one just for the ceremony and remove it afterwards before the evening celebrations. You could also wear a strapless/sleeveless dress with a cardigan/jacket which can be removed after the ceremony if you wish. Please contact Alicia if you have any questions about this.
Colours to avoid:
Gentlemen: Please ensure you're fully covered, for example by wearing a suit or similar formal attire.
The colour scheme for the wedding is green & pink — you are more than welcome to wear something of these colours if you wish, but there is no obligation!
Travel & Accommodation
Getting to the Ceremony — London Central Mosque
Parking: Yes, parking is available near the mosque, so feel free to drive if you'd prefer.
Tube: The closest stations are St. John's Wood (Jubilee line) and Baker Street (Bakerloo, Circle, District, Hammersmith & City, Jubilee & Metropolitan lines), both around a 10–15 minute walk away.
Getting to the Reception — NAC, Mayfair
Parking: Parking isn't easy to come by around Mayfair (limited spaces, restrictions, and central London charges), so we'd recommend public transport or a taxi/rideshare for this one.
Tube: Bond Street is the closest station, only around a 4 minute walk away. Marble Arch is also close by.
Travelling from the mosque/park: A taxi or Uber would be a preferable way to get from the ceremony/Park Drinks over to NAC, rather than the tube.
